The Film That Started It All

The Flow With Pride Documentary is the foundation of everything we do. Filmed across IDP camps, rural villages, and urban communities in Nigeria, it captures the silent crisis of period poverty with honesty and humanity. The documentary was screened in Abuja before senior government ministers and has been acquired by an international streaming platform.

On location

Three Nigerias, one silence.

  • Adamawa State

Internally displaced persons camps in the north east.

  • Northern Nigeria

Rural villages where pads had never been available.

  • Lagos

Urban communities where the silence was just as complete.

After the screening

A mandate, and then an organisation.

The documentary was screened in Abuja before the Honourable Ministers of Health, Women Affairs and Youth Development, and the FCT Mandate Secretary for Health. The ministers issued a mandate to build structural, sustainable menstrual health intervention in Nigeria.

Flow With Pride Impact Hub was launched to carry it out. The film has since been acquired by GuideDoc, an international documentary streaming platform.
